Weekly Agenda for the 6 Sessions

1- What is Neuroaffirming Care- Screening in a clinical setting

2- Deep Dive into Neuro-Affiriming Interventions

3-Navigating Relationships in a Neurotypical World

4-5 -Consultation on specific cases you bring from your practice.

$200 in advanced or $45 per session

In this group, we will focus the first 3 weeks on establishing basic clinical knowledge and clinical care options. This will be a blend of presentation, discussion, and case studies. Topics include a differential diagnosis for high-making neurodivergent clients, a nervous system-based care approach, and neuro-affirming treatment planning for individuals and their families. We will also discuss how our basic client care, such as office environment, intake, and pacing, can be neuroaffirming.  Lastly, basic options for school/work accommodations and case management.  The final Weeks 4-6 will focus on case consultation to hone our skills and address the variety of presentations and needs. 

BIO:

As a clinician for teens and families for 20 years and a mother of neurodivergent children. Josie Bohling, LMFT, draws on her clinical skills and intimate knowledge of neurodivergence to support clinicians in creating a more neuro-affirming therapeutic experience for their clients.  With 15% of the population being neurodivergent and higher in therapeutic settings, Josie is deeply passionate about making neuroaffirming care, standard ethical care and not just a specialty for clinicians.
